Even when we seek God, sometimes what we want to happen doesn’t. But He knows best.
About six years ago we contemplated moving. Every turn brought discouraging let-downs in search for the perfect “new” home.
What happened?
We stayed put. God knew my employment situation was about to change before I even had a clue. He knows what’s in our tomorrows, so as long as we seek His face for answers, we can trust the outcome to Him.
We don’t always get it right, but we can rest assured His “no” will prove to be a positive answer for us.
Seek His face and ask for wisdom.
“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.
Love In Christ,
Doris
Hey Doris, The day you posted this I was waiting for the phone to ring with an answer. I didn’t feel the interview had gone well and felt like your message was preparing my heart for a gentle let down. The Lord always knows best. Boy, was I surprised when I did get the job!
Thanks April for your comment! Isn’t it so true, His no is for our good, and His yes is awesome and amazing! Congratulations again on the job.
Thank you for this encouraging word, Doris. I’m so glad He knows what’s coming and I can trust His guidance. This truth is something I have to keep before me at all times.
Amen sister! Thank you for stopping by, and I too am thankful He knows what’s coming. Be blessed my friend!
