More About Evelyn …
Evelyn Sherwood was born and raised in the Midwest and has been married 40 years to her college sweetheart.
They have two beautiful children who visit often with their spouses and eight grandbabies. Evelyn calls this glorious chaos and she absolutely loves it!
The same church that called them to serve 29 years ago is still “family”, as well as the community of faith in their smallish midwest town.
True confession from Evelyn: “I watch Hallmark Christmas movies all year, Pumpkin Spice Latte is my favorite season, and my idea of a 5-star hotel is camping in the clubhouse with my Grands.”
In November of ‘23, after an intense season of pain, loss and uncertainty spanning over an eleven month period, Evelyn released her first book, Just Breathe. It was the book she never saw coming, but the one that God birthed in her during that eleven month battle.
This is why she writes… that the wounded, weary, and worn will not feel alone. Though darkness and uncertain times surround us, we are never alone.
