Karen Whiting writes to help build tomorrow’s wholesome families today. She lets creativity flow into her writing to encourage women, families, and children. She’s a certified writing and marketing coach, international speaker, former television host, and award-winning author of twenty-six books for women, children, military, and families. She’s a mom of five (including two rocket scientists) and a grandmother. Her adventures include camel riding in the Canary Islands, white water rafting in Australia, horseback riding in the ocean in Jamaica, scuba diving off Bermuda’s coast, and river cruising in China. Karen is also experienced with tragedies and struggles. She served as a caregiver for her husband until he passed away from breast cancer. She is a survivor of many natural disasters including major hurricanes, lightning strikes, spontaneous combustible fires, earthquake, derecho (Straight line tornado), droughts, and flooding. She loves to share how to choose hope and joy over stress, fear, and despair.
